Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson License Course

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires 40 hours of approved classroom instruction prior to sitting for the real estate license exam.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2011 THE CLASSROOM HOUR REQUIREMENT HAS INCREASED FROM 24 HOURS TO 40 HOURS. 

NEXT 40 HOUR SALESPERSON COURSE IS NOW SCHEDULED

The next 40 hour salesperson course will begin on Tuesday, 27th, 2012. Classes will run on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5 PM to 10 PM and on Saturday from 9:00AM to 2:00PM. Dates of classes for this course are: 3/27, 3/29, 3/31, 4/3, 4/5, 4/7, 4/10, 4/12. There are a total of 8 classes that add up to 40 hours and this course fully complies with the new regulation. The cost of the course is $375 and this price includes the textbook, handouts in class, electronic media on CD for study aids, practice test questions, etc. To sign up for the course simply download the registration form or send an email to the address below for instructions on how to enroll. The class size is limited so enrollment will be on a first-come first-served paid basis. This will be the only scheduled course until Fall of 2012 when classes will be resumed.

Massachusetts Real Estate Broker Course

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires 40 hours of classroom instruction for the Brokers Course. A prerequisite of at least a 3 year apprenticeship as a Licensed Salesperson is required prior to taking the Broker exam and licensing. Cost for the course is $425, which includes the text book and handout materials. This course is only scheduled by request and must have sufficient enrollment in order to run the course. Continuing Education

Courses for the Continuing Education requirement for licensed brokers and salesmen in Massachusetts are held on an ongoing basis and a schedule of courses is available upon request. Under Massachusetts License Laws relative to re-licensing, continuing education credits must be completed for licenses being renewed each license cycle in order to maintain an active status. A total of 12 education hours in specific real estate related topics must be taken every two years. Courses are provided by Fontaine Real Estate School according to demand.
